These fries don't need much explanation, I think the picture can speak for itself. They are crispy, savory, and so good. They are one of the easiest sides to make for a meal, or just have them for an afternoon snack! I would be lying if I said I've never ate them as my dinner... they're just that good!
Ingredients:
-Sweet Potatoes (I used one giant potato for this, but 2 medium potatoes would work just fine.)
-A splash of olive oil
- 1/2 tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder, and Lawry's seasoned salt (you can use regular salt)
- A dash of black pepper
- Water
Directions:
1. Cut the sweet potatoes in a fry shape making sure to keep the size consistent so they are all done cooking at the same time
2. Place the potatoes in a bowl with just enough oil to barely coat all of the fries, but no more than that
3. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper and mix together coating all of the fries
4. Put just a splash of water on the fries. I've always had a problem with my food getting really dry in the air fryer and I found that this makes a world of difference! I don't put a lot of water on, just a tiny amount and it goes a long way.
5. Pour fries in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
6. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking throughout
7. Enjoy!
*You can always substitute a different type of potato for the sweet potatoes!
Be sure to let me know if you try them!
