This ice cream is a perfect summer treat! It's light, refreshing, and free of nasty ingredients that are in some of the store bought vegan ice creams. We like to make a giant batch of this and keep it in the freezer for easy access whenever we get a sweet tooth! Check out this simple recipe below!
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas, chopped
Splash of plant milk (we use almond milk)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp spirulina (this is optional but is a great superfood!)
Your favorite toppings!
Directions:
Add in the bananas, plant milk, vanilla extract, and spirulina to a blender. Only add enough plant milk to allow for adequate blending.
Blend until smooth
Pour into a bowl and add on your favorite toppings! Some of our favorites are seeds (chia, flax, and hemp), granola, and fresh fruit!
