Simple Pasta Bake

Do you ever get home late from work or a long day and are looking for a simple but delicious dinner recipe to cook for your family? Well it doesn't get any simpler than this! This is one where you can set it and forget it until it's done! Simple, easy, and everyone will love it! Check out the recipe below!


Ingredients:

  1. 1 box pasta (we used rigatoni)

  2. 1 jar pasta sauce (we like a garden marinara to get the chunkier veggies)

  3. Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper (to taste)

  4. Optional toppings: Plant based mozzarella cheese and bread crumbs


Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta on the stove according to package directions but leave the pasta slightly under-cooked.

  2. Drain the pasta and mix in the pasta sauce and seasonings in the kettle.

  3. Transfer the mixture to an oven safe 8x8 pan.

  4. Top with bread crumbs and cheese.

  5. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until slightly crispy on top/all of the cheese is melted.

  6. Enjoy!
